OC: Caves in Dana Point Harbor

When: November 23rd, 2019
attires: Comfortable shoes or flip flops to walk about 1.2 miles
Time: start the trip early when it is still in low tides
Tips: park your car at the baby beach


To get to the trailhead, drive to the Ocean Institue in Dana Point.  There is a lot of free parking at Baby Beach.  After parking, walk past the Ocean Institute,  and you will be near the rock jetty.  You will see a large grated walkway; take the stairs to your right.  You will find a cave after an hour of walking.
