LA- The Old Town of Pasadena
Day 1:
Laying in the pool area at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Pasadena, it is breezing and relaxing here with a nice size pool and a hot jacuzzi. The hotel is located right in the Old Town of Pasadena on Colorado Blvd and Fair Oaks Ave. Here, you can walk to all the local restaurants and shops.

My staycation fits well for our family due to conflict off days of our spring break. We started the day with breakfast at the Urth Cafe where is well known for the best organic coffee and teas. I ordered a Spanish latte and an egg and prosciutto panini. The breakfast was delicious. We then visited Norton Simon Musem and checked in the hotel at the Courtyard Marriott for Jolie's pool time.
Later, we went to Noodle World. As we walked around, we discovered Mignon Chocolate and this was an amazing place. You can't pass this if you are a chocolate lover. We ordered chili chocolate, ginger sea salt chocolate, and cocoa truffle. These chocolates are just melted in my mouth like a good piece of filet mignon steak.
For dinner, we went to A.K.A is located right in the old town. Foods are beyond excellent. My favorite dish was steak with garlic mash potatoes and green beans.
At last, walking around downtown and enjoyed ice cream was perfect to end our day.
Day 2:
After a few hours in the pool, we walked again to the old town and had breakfast at Intelligentsia Coffee and Tea with Cheese Board, French bread, and a cup of Mocha. If you are there, you can't miss the City Hall. The architecture of the City Hall is amazing.

The second day is for Jolie. We took her to the KidSpace Museum and that was the end of our trip because she didn't want to leave that place.
