Red, White and Blue - July 4, 2013

Image
It is a routine for my family to visit my friend, Tina Pham's home in San Juan Capistrano on July 4th of every year whether she throws a party or not.  Her beach house has an amazing view; therefore it is a great place to watch firework and enjoy the company of good friends.  I wore a blue jumpsuit with a red necklace and a pair of red shoes and add a touch of a white Chanel purse to create the combination of red, blue and white.

Million dollars Home in Irvine

Image
I was invited to a party of a friend of mine in Irvine.  This house is not one of the usual houses that I have visited; this house is worth about 6 mil. in the current market.  As arrived to this house, I was inspired by the architecture and designs of the house.  The rustic kitchen, the golf view and level swimming pool were impressive.  I took pictures all over house because each corner gives a different edge of look.

OC -Coliseum Pool and Grill - The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Coast

Image
It was my first time driving to Pelican Hill in Newport Coast.  What a beautiful place! Pelican Hill Resort is a five-star rating.  Inspired by the work of Andrea Palladio who was an architect in the 16th-century Venetian countryside style, this beautiful relaxed comfort resort was built with an amazing coliseum grant pool and many hand-crafted details.   The birthday dinner for Kara and co Tina was set up right outside with an amazing view of the pool and overlook of the Pelican Resort.  This resort is fantastic and luxurious and the ambiance of dining takes over the food.   August 2013 The Resort at Pelican Hill - 22701 Pelican Hill Road South - Newport Coast, California 92657 (855) 315-8214

OC Long Beach Flea Market and Angelo's Italian Deli

Image
Long Beach Flea Market gathers on the third Sunday of the month at 4901 E. Conant, Long Beach .  It costs $6 per adult.  You can find a lot of vintage furniture, old jewelry, clothes and any thing else.  In addition, I love watching street fashion stylists who dressed up vintage and they were easy to spot on the streets.  After shopping at the flea, we went to fourth street and then 2nd street.  We found a deli called " Angelo's Italian Deli" selling the best Italian sandwiches and cold cuts.  Here is the address:  190 La Verne Ave  Long Beach, CA 90808 (562) 434-1977

OC -Anqui Restaurant in Costa Mesa

Image
Anqui Restaurant is well known for its garlic noodle and crab which are cooked in a secret kitchen by An's family.  I had a pleasure to visit both kitchens and met the kitchen staff.  The crab dish is on served on a certain day of the week.  One of my favorite dishes  called "American Raised Wagyu Beef Carpaccio.   Anqui Restaurant is currently running by one of the co-owner Giuseppe who is very innovated with his ideas about the restaurants.  You can find an Asian clubbing atmosphere on a Friday night or an artistic fashion show on a Wednesday night.  Hope you enjoy it! Location: 3333 South Bristol (right at Bloomingdale's) Costa Mesa, CA 714-557-5679

OC -The Camp in Costa Mesa

Image
The camp is an innovative retail campus demonstating the artistic and healthy lifestyles.  I love spending my weekend here because the environment helps me feel relaxing.  All the restaurants are great here.  I have tried the Vitaly Italian, Umami burger and they are all the best!

LA-High Tea at SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills

Image
SLS Hotel is an elegant boutique hotel and the fascinating interior was designed by Phillipe Starks in 1980.   Hand-in-hand with beautiful interior designs, chef Tres-by-Jose Andres is a fantastic designer for all the culinary arts.  I was invited for an afternoon tea and it was an exquisite afternoon high tea food with a hot pot of Jasmine Tea.  I highly recommend it for any occasion. 465 S La Cienega Blvd  Los Angeles, CA 90048 (310) 247-0400 Phillipe Starks Chef Jose Andres
